Our Story
Heat Seal Components Ltd was formed in 2026, but the team and the expertise go back much further.
Our engineers spent over 25 years manufacturing heat seal elements, endless bands, and PTFE coatings as part of East Anglian Fine Weld, one of the UK's established names in heat sealing components. When that business entered liquidation, Oliver Gilbert acquired the goodwill, the assets, and (most importantly) kept the team together.
The people who made your elements before are the same people making them now. The difference is fresh investment: better equipment, better processes, and an ownership team that's committed to the long term.
We're experienced manufacturers doing the same work we've always done, under ownership that backs the team to do it properly.
What We Do
Manufacturing
We manufacture impulse heat seal elements, endless heat seal bands, and custom heating elements. All made in-house at our Huntingdon facility. We work with nichrome, stainless steel, specialist alloys, and offer copper, nickel, and silver plating.
PTFE Coating
We run our own PTFE coating line on site. Components up to 2m², thicknesses from 10 to 30 microns. Most coating work is turned around within 1–2 weeks.
Having manufacturing and coating under one roof means we control the full process from start to finish.
Our Team
We're a team of 13, based in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire. Our engineers have decades of experience working with heat sealing equipment across the packaging, food, pharmaceutical, and industrial sectors.

Our Facility
Our manufacturing and coating facility is at 10 St Margarets Way, Huntingdon, PE29 6EB.
Everything happens here: element manufacturing, band welding, PTFE coating, quality checking, and dispatch. Having the full operation on one site means faster turnarounds and complete control over what we ship.
