Vertical form-fill-seal
VFFS Baggers
Vertical form-fill-seal lines run hot and fast, so the jaw band and elements are the parts that wear. We make PTFE-coated endless bands and jaw elements to fit, made to order in the UK.
When it fails: Seals splitting, bags leaking, jaw marks off, band worn through.

Chamber and external
Vacuum Packers
Chamber and external vacuum packers seal on a heated bar. When the seal goes weak or the bar stops heating, it is the element. We make flat ribbon and round wire seal-bar elements to fit your machine.
When it fails: Weak or wet seals, element burnt out, seal bar not heating.

Impulse and foot sealers
Impulse / Bench Sealers
Impulse and bench sealers heat the wire in a pulse. A snapped element or torn cover tape stops the seal dead. We make impulse elements, including copper and silver plated ends for low-resistance connections.
When it fails: No seal, wire snapped, PTFE cover tape torn, heat but no bond.

Horizontal flow-wrap
Flow-Wrap
Flow-wrap seals through heated crimp and fin jaws. Film that sticks or a weak fin seal usually traces back to a worn element or failed non-stick coating. We make the elements and recoat the parts in PTFE.
When it fails: Film sticking, fin seal weak, crimp not closing, product leaking.

Continuous rotary
Band Sealers
Continuous band sealers run a moving heated band against the film. A worn band or tired heating element gives an intermittent, wandering seal. We make PTFE-coated endless bands and custom heating elements to fit.
When it fails: Intermittent seal, seal wandering, band worn, line stopped.
