Element Types We Make
Every vacuum packer seals the bag with a heated element on the seal bar. When that element burns through, the machine stops sealing. We make the replacement to match.
Flat ribbon sealing elements
The most common vacuum packer element. Flat nichrome ribbon, cut to your seal bar length, with terminations to suit your machine.
Round sealing wire
For machines that use a round-section seal wire rather than a flat ribbon. Made to your gauge and length.
Double-seal (twin) elements
For seal bars that lay down two seams at once, or a seal-and-trim. We match the spacing and termination layout of your original.
We can also supply the PTFE cover tape that protects the element on the seal bar, so you get the full consumable in one order.

A vacuum packer with a dead element is a stopped line. We manufacture every element ourselves in Huntingdon, so there is no subcontract delay, and a standard replacement is on a 1-2 week lead time with urgent orders handled where we can.

What is the difference between single and double seal elements?
A single seal element lays down one weld across the bag. A double seal (twin) element lays two, or seals and trims in one stroke. We match whichever layout your machine uses.
Do you supply the PTFE cover tape as well?
Yes. We can supply the PTFE cover tape that sits over the element and stops the bag sticking to the seal bar, so you can order the element and its cover together.
How fast can I get a replacement?
Standard lead time is 1-2 weeks. If your line is down and you need it sooner, call us and we'll do what we can.
Can you make elements with copper or silver plated ends?
Yes. We finish the terminations to match your machine, including copper and silver plating on the connection points for reliable conductivity.
